Over the last 20 years, she has worked as a registered nurse in many areas including Med/Surg, Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, Ante-Partum Unit, Cardiology, Urology, Operating Room, Home Health and as a School Nurse.

Geraldine completed her masters degree in nursing at Columbus State University. She is licensed by the State of Georgia and accredited by the ANCC as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner she has practiced independently in two practices and has also worked at the Clayton County Jail.

Geraldine picked up many great skills and ideas throughout her journey but still was unsatisfied with how she was being told to practice medicine. One day while stopped at a train crossing, she heard God say, “Do it yourself, your way”.

Geraldine unique combination of a superb educational background, having a broad base of knowledge in different areas, strong nursing skills combined with a caring heart has equipped her to confidently lead GEM Primary Healthcare, LLC.

She is very confident in her ability to provide comprehensive care for her patients and teach her community how to better care for themselves. She believes in listening attentively, asking the right questions to make the correct diagnosis and providing them with evidence-based treatment and community resources.

She believes that partnering with her patients and building long-lasting trusting relationships is the foundation of a superior practice.
